How did nature shift my view? Day 6: Make a mood board for an emotional color. What story did the color tell? Day 7: Refine a creation from Days 1-6. What pattern emerged? Write a story or poem by following one or more of the images that emerged over the seven days. In One Year to a Writing Life by Susan Tiberghien, the author suggests the following three steps in working with images: 1. Describe the image as a journal entry or paragraph 2. Create a mandala by placing the image in the center and draw multiple images or let your imagination fill in the space around it and give it a title 3. Now start to shape your image into a piece of writing, "to unfold its story, it needs your words."
