Welcome!

I believe that inspiration is ongoing and we all need to feed our mind, body and soul on a daily basis.

What inspires you? For myself, I like to start the mornings writing out my thoughts and end up making a list of 3-5 things to accomplish in the day. Whatever I do not complete I add to the next day. Just getting started in any direction sets things in motion.

Sometimes this is easier said than done. I may need to feed the soul by finding things that motivate. Perhaps listening to a podcast or reading something inspirational or getting out and about in the neighbourhood and community will inspire me into action.

The ideal is that, "motivation follows action, not the other way around", as described in Feeling Good by Dr. Burns. Set your aim for the day, and take one small step to meet a, or each goal. More often than not, doing something for even 5-10 minutes spurs you forward to staying on task for longer periods of time.

Of course, a key element to a happy equilibrium is to make time for you. By taking care of ourselves, not only do we have more energy to give to others, but we can also inspire them through our actions. Balance everyday responsibility with what is important, and be sure to fit yourself into your daily plans.

It’s just a matter of getting started. Get to know what inspires you. Whatever feeds the mind, body and soul - do more of that! (And perhaps, just as importantly, is sharing it with others.)

Journal or jot down a list for the following questions:

1. What do I love to do? Start a page with ‘I love to…’ and see how many ideas you can

conjure up.

2. What can I do for me today? How can I take even 5-10 minutes to do something I enjoy

from the list?

3. What will inspire me? How can I inspire others?

4. Write it out for the week: 7 days = 7 possibilities to do something for You!

“Everyday is a new beginning

- take a deep –

breath, smile & start again”
